Young People Lead the Way in Talking about about Mental Health

The Mental Health evening on 23 February at West Island School, initiated by a group of students taking part in the KELY Support Group and Weez Project Talk2Me programme, was an innovative and clever way of learning and talking about about mental health issues.

Questions were collated across the school and put to a expert panel of psychologists who gave honest, authentic and direct responses. The morning session was live streamed to all students. Parents attended the evening session where the panel answered questions the young people most wanted their parents to hear.
